Cafe Regular is a consistent winner in the south slope. Skip Starbucks and the oodles of mediocre coffee houses, and come here. They do it right, the baristas know the regulars by name, and their cold brewed iced-coffee is worth the trip.

Konditori

Konditori is a Swedish coffee shop that has locations in several “hip” New York neighborhoods. It’s a welcome alternative to starbucks, and a great hang as well.
